Rudy Tahan Mangapul Situmeang earned his PhD in Heterogeneous Catalysis from ECPM, Universite de Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg France. He is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Lampung, Indonesia. His research focuses on Nanomaterials for Photocatalysis, with particular emphasis on both perovskite and spinel composite Compounds-catalyzed or -photocatalyzed cellulose, dyes and antibacterial material. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed scientific publications and holds an h-index of 10 (Scopus, January 2026). He also serves as a reviewer for several reputable international journals.
