Call for Section Editor and Reviewer

Data Discovery, a double-anonymous peer-reviewed journal is pleased to invite applications for the positions of Section Editor and Reviewer. We are looking for dedicated scholars and researchers to support our editorial team in maintaining the journal’s high-quality standards and scholarly integrity.

Scope of the Journal

Data Discovery focusing on multidisciplinary research in data science and its interdisciplinary applications. This journal aims to provide a platform for continuous discussion of relevant issues that fall within its focus and scope, which can be empirically examined in the following areas: 1) Methodologies and Tools; 2) Data Applications in Sciences; 3) Data Applications in Technology and Engineering; 4) Interdisciplinary and Emerging Areas; and 5) Ethics and Societal Impact.

Open Positions 1) Section Editor

Responsibilities:

  • Manage manuscripts submitted within a designated section/topic from desk evaluation to editorial decision.

  • Nominate and coordinate reviewers; monitor the peer review process.

  • Provide editorial recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief.

  • Uphold ethical publishing standards (COPE) and journal guidelines.

2) Reviewer

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, objective, and constructive peer reviews.

  • Evaluate methodology, novelty, and scholarly contribution of manuscripts.

  • Maintain confidentiality and avoid conflicts of interest.
